Shut the Box

Shut the Box is a game of chance. It is often played in bars where a group of people each play the game and the person with the worst (highest) score buys the next round for the group.

Goal of the game:

There are two 6-sided fair dice and a board of numbers from 1 to 12. You must sum the numbers on the dice and remove any combination of numbers where their sum equals the roll. For example, if an 8 was rolled the possible combinations are 8/1,7/2,6/3,5/1,3,4/1,2,5. If you are not able to remove the number with the remaining tiles on the board the game ends. Your score is the sum of the remaining tiles on the board. You want the lowest score possible.
